Founded in the mid 1930s by a small group of dinghy enthusiasts, West Hoe Sailing Club is one of the most famous sailing clubs in the port of Plymouth.   The club has a long and successful history of involvement in small boat racing and over the years members have won many dinghy and small keelboat national and major regatta titles.

The 2019 summer season sees WHSC’s Evening Squib Series move to Fridays with races starting and finishing from the Plym Yacht Club box at Mount Batten. In 2019 the club will also be running a new Saturday One Design Series for Squibs, J24s, and Seascape18s with the possibility
of other small one design keelboats and dinghies also racing. All documentation for the two 2019 WHSC series can be found under the Racing tab.
